I agree with you on the leverage aspect about building wealth. If you weren&#039;t born rich then you are going to have to use leverage wisely to make up the time gap. 

Anyway back to your main point. For me an emergency fund is crucial. The psychological impact of having an emergency fund is huge especially if I have a bad day at work :-( At least that way I can tell my boss to stick it and go and take a little time out before I look for another job. Realistically this is never going to happen but you get my point.

Say I got sick or had an accident - the fund would cushion the blow.</description>
